Israel’s Deputy Consul General in New York Israel Nitzan recently held a briefing for staffers of Federal, State, and City elected officials, among them Eli Slavin of Crown Heights, an aide to Congresswoman Yevette Clarke.
Also in attendance was Andrew Gross, Director of Political Affairs.
Among the topics of discussion was the effort of the Consul to reach millennials, of special concern is the wave of anti-Semitism which exists today on college campuses. Their goal is to reach the Jewish youth and give them an awareness of their Jewish culture, Slavin said.
In his remarks, Nitzan commented on his “respect and admiration of Chabad’s energetic and successful outreach to the youth.”

The PROPIGANDA spread on campus is just horrifying.
We need much LIGHT to counter that DARK.
The consulate needs not only to recognize the Rebbes work, but emulate the work of Chabad on campus “Torah, Chasidus, Ahavas Yistoel, AND SHLEIMUS H’ORETZ”
It’s always good to hear the world recognizing the work of the Rebbes Shluchim
