R’ Yosef Simcha Blizinsky (ben R’ Meir Sholom), from the elder Anash of Crown Heights, passed away on Wednesday, 15 Adar I, 5779.

R’ Yosef Simcha Blizinsky was born in Poland in the 1930’s.
When he was a child his family immigrated to Eretz Yisroel where he spent his childhood. As a Bochur he came to Crown Heights to learn.

He is survived by his wife Miriam Blizinsky (nee Kalmanson Bas R’ Yisroel Shimon) who has not been informed yet of his passing.
And his children, Mrs. Rivkah Carlebach of New Jersey, R’ Mendel Blizinsky of CH, Mrs. Dina Dubrowsky of Crown Heights and Mrs. Chanie Rosenfeld of Zurich.

GREAT CHASSID, ALWAYS A WARM HELLO WHEN WE WOULD PASS ON CROWN STREET, SADLY THESE GREAT CHASSIDIM WILL BE MISSED .
Rabbi Blizinsky was my Rebbi in Boston around 57 years ago.
He was always very nice to me. He was a fine role model. He will be missed.
While your post is warming, and possibly especially so to is family, unlike what you wrote (it’s never too late), it IS too late to thank HIM, so perhaps (if you did not thank him in a way you felt fully enough), a lesson could be that when one CAN thank someone and wants to, better to do so then and not wait until it is too late.

Very kind people. When they lived in the house they always kept the sidewalk free of debris and snow. In shamayim, the Rabbi is surely clearing paths for the Geulah.
