Pullman Dock in Les Docks de Paris, one of the French capital’s largest meeting centers, was the venue for the annual gala dinner of Beth Lubavitch of Paris.
Some 2,500 people attended the celebration, billed as the largest such type event in Paris, in salute of the activities of the Chabad centers in the city.
This year’s event marked the 20th anniversary of Beis Chaya Mushka, the large educational campus that houses a Jewish school and a shul, led by the brothers Rabbi Mendel Azimov and Rabbi Levi Azimov.
Addressing the event were Chief Rabbi of Paris Michel Gugenheim, President of the French Jewish communal organization CRIF Francis Kalifat, and Chabad Shluchim.
Singing at the event was music star Avraham Fried and dancing by participants. Each guest received a volume of Chumash Shemos with the Rebbe‘s commentary translated to French.
So many familiar faces. What a beautiful Simcha. A tremendous kiddish Hashem.
A most beautiful and impressive testament
to the REBBE and the שלוחים ד׳רבינו Generals of Yiddishkeit
in France. Go Azimov brothers and family.
הנה מה טוב ומה נעים שבת אחים גם יחד
what a beautiful work they do in Paris!!!
