A military vehicle that overturned at a base of the Israel Defence Forces in the south of the country led to the injury of 2 soldiers on Monday, an announcement by the IDF spokesperson said.
One IDF soldier was moderately wounded and another soldier was lightly injured, they said. The wounded were evacuated to the Soroka hospital for medical treatment.
Sharon Edri, a spokesperson for Soroka said both casualties were evacuated in a helicopter and that two of them are suffering from dry bruises. One was treated in the trauma room and was hospitalized in the second surgical department.
COLlive.com was told that one of those soldiers is Yehoshua Avraham Frisch, a Lubavitcher from Coral Springs, Florida, who is serving in a training unit.
“We don’t know the condition yet and are awaiting an update,” a family member said.
The public is asked to say Tehillim for Yehoshua Avraham ben Chaika.
Update: Miraculously, the soldier has been undergoing tests in the hospital and is in much better condition than originally thought.
“Thank G-d he has no broken bones, and no internal bleeding, so he should be able to be discharged from the hospital in the next day or so,” family members said.
A nes he is alive
the army is no joke !
Refuah Shelaimah!
Was this an attack or just a driving accident? I hope the kid is alright. And I hope we don’t get any senseless, insensitive comments saying he should never have joined the IDF in the first place. This is not the place for that. Refuah shleimah.
Ive been there, I know your pain, my sibling was critically wounded serving in the IDF.

you are cared for. We are davening for you
We should say tehillim for both soldiers not just the lubavitcher one
