A man was seen violently shoving Jewish people as they walked on Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights on Sunday evening, alarming his victims and passersby.
A young Jewish resident was horrified as he witnessed a black man walking on Kingston Avenue and shoving people as he walked past them.
“I noticed a commotion near two Jewish women who were walking on Kingston Avenue near Montgomery Street, and I went over to see what happened,” the man told COLlive.com.
“I then noticed another Jewish man looking shocked as the man passed him as well. That’s when I began to follow a black man who appeared to be violently shoving people for no apparent reason,” he said.
The Lubavitch man then followed the attacker, who continued up Kingston Avenue until he reached Lincoln Place, where he entered a Bodega, he said.
Worried for people’s safety, the Jewish man carefully continued to follow the perp as he then proceeded to walk back up Kingston towards Montgomery Street.
The Lubavitch man succeeded in catching at least one of the attacks on video, which he plans to give to the police.
“The man seemed to have gone into the apartment building where he lives, on Kingston Avenue near Lefferts Avenue, since he let himself in with a key,” he said.
“The worst part is that when the man noticed myself and some volunteer patrol members following him, he laughed,” the witness told COLlive.com.
According to a second account from another Jewish person who was physically hit on Sunday evening, the attacker has clearly uttered the words “you *expletive* Jew” when he pushed the Jew.
Chanina Sperlin of the Crown Heights Jewish Community Council encourages anyone who is a victim of a violent crime to call 911 and make a police report.
“It is critical that a report is made with the police so that they are aware of how many incidents are happening in our neighborhood,” he said.
It is unclear if this attacker is the same man who pushed a Jewish young woman on Friday. The woman was walking on Kingston Avenue near Lincoln Place at approximately 1:00 pm on Friday, when a black man came towards her and punched her in the arm.
That perpetrator is described as a black male, about 5.10/6 ft, with black jacket and pants, black shoes, and matted dreadlocks.
This attack is the latest in a string of recent incidents including a mugging at knifepoint, a Jewish man punched and thrown to the ground and a man punched in the chest.
The NYPD Hate Crimes unit is investigating the attacks.
In response to the recent incidents, the NYPD informed that there will be six additional patrol cars every day in the areas that have experienced the most incidents, with additional officers assigned to Kingston Avenue on foot.

I watched all the videos that had been published so far and with all due respect I to would have pushed a man who walking crookedly and crossing my way with carelessness and sensitivity to the other pedestrians. I’m not bored and work a long job but I also checked it myself because i’m extremely alarmed at all these violent attacks by African Americans against Jews in CH. The only way to go is to be united and to well publicize what’s been going on here so that when the first brave person finally teaches them a lesson they won’t forget , he won’t be alone when the police try to lock him up for defending himself.

A month ago I was walking with a friend and a young child the man pushed my friend facing her, not from the back. I got a picture of his back. We called shomrim, by the time they came he was gone. They called the police. The police said there is nothing they can do it’s not a crime. I still have the picture
