On Wednesday evening, November 28, over two hundred and fifty friends gathered at the Museum of Jewish Heritage.
They came to celebrate thirty eight years of Tzivos Hashem, the largest worldwide Jewish children’s organization that inspires the lives of Jewish children from all backgrounds, giving them access to the wisdom and richness of their tradition and heritage.
The evening began with cocktails, and a silent auction with an array of beautiful prizes.
The program continued with dinner, hosted by emcee Stephanie Simon, Arts Reporter for NY1. She began by introducing Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson of Tzivos Hashem, as well a video about the works of Tzivos Hashem’s Joseph Papp humanitarian fund, which supports its programs and orphanages in Ukraine and Israel.
The evening continued with a special presentation honoring Dr. Marcia Robbins-Wilf on her 70th birthday, highlighting her dedication to the children of Tzivos Hashem around the world.
Mr. Joseph Popack then presented an award to the evening’s co-chairs, Nancy Spielberg and Shimon Katz.
The high point of the evening was a thrilling performance by world renowned mentalist Oz Pearlman, as well as a show by Jake Ehrenreich of “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.”
Guests walked away from the beautiful and exciting evening enthused by the amazing work of Tzivos Hashem around the world.
