“To The staff behind camp,
“My boys had an amazing time. The biggest takeaway my almost 7 year old got was friends. To me this was why i sent him. I wanted the hiskashrus, the fun, and the learning. But most of all I wanted him to have friends. Where we live he is the only boy his age. He plays with boys 2 years his junior and 3 years his senior.
“Thank you so much for all you do to make this a reality.”
Thus reads one of the many notes sent by parents full of appreciation for the Tzeirei Hashluchim Winter Camp in Lake Worth, FL.
However, for some of the Young Shluchim who need it most, this crucial lifeline is out of reach.
The Shluchim Office offers highly subsidized rates (even before scholarships), but the high cost of an air ticket is often a prohibitive challenge for many Shluchim whose children yearn for the Shluchim Camp experience.
Enter the #MaaserFromYourMiles Campaign. By donating miles to help cover the tickets, you can help us fly these young Shluchim to camp. Your generosity will help us provide them with the inspiration and uplifting experience that they so deserve.
Often all that is needed is just 12,500 miles for a one-way ticket, 25,000 for round-trip. More miles can help even more Young Shluchim!
Donate at YoungShluchim.org/Miles! Or email [email protected]
For those that don’t have miles, you can also contribute towards the cost of a regular ticket.
Parents who want to register for camp can do so at YoungShluchim.org. Register by Nov 30 to take advantage of the early bird rate!
Tzeirei Hashluchim Winter Camp is a division of The Shluchim Office, and operates thanks to an endowment by Rabbi Don Yoel Levy of OK Kosher.
Young Shluchim from around the world come to camp to have an unforgettable experience filled with friends, fun, and inspiration. When they arrive at camp, they finally get to be surrounded by friends just like them, and gain an empowering and rejuvenating experience. The camp is for children of Shluchim ages 7-13, and is located on a beautiful Florida campus in Lake Worth.
The Boys Camp will take place from 9th-17th Teves (Dec 17-25). The Girls Camp will take place from 17th-25th Teves (Dec 25-Jan 2), both over winter break.

I was there as a staff member many years ago.
The children of the shluchim have an incredible time and gives them so much chayus for the rest of the year. They always look forward to coming back.
Can you elaborate?
