I am not a professional, however for years now, in a quest to figure it out, I have taken to onserving the way people eat. It is not a pretty sight to watch the larger person wolf down their food. For most part, it goes into the mouth momentarilly before being swallowed. I have not come accross a larger person who takes their time and adheres to the above mentioned advice. As someone with Chrons, I can guarantee that chewing food slowly before swallowing makes all the difference in the digestive tract. I personally feel so much better when doing so.
