Rabbi Broadcasts From a Prison

Watch: Rabbi Nachman Simon and journalist Marc Gronich broadcast their talk show from Coxsackie Correctional Facility in NY.

Four men sit in a prison-sanctioned sukkah at the Coxsackie Correctional Facility in Greene County, with Rabbi Nachman Simon, Director of Chabad House of Delmar in Albany, New York, and Marc Gronich for a filming of The Jewish View.

What is said during the interview with these 4 people - one authentically Jewish and three interested in Judaism - is quite awe-inspiring especially when you hear about what crimes they committed, said Gronich.

Unfortunately our perhaps fortunately, It sounds like three out of the four inmates are not yiddin.

It takes a special person to visit and try to bring Hashem into the lives of such people. Thanks to Rabbi Simon & Marc Gronich.

Sad fact
Anyone can be Jewish if they want in prison. Most won't let the prisoners eat in a sukkah at night when it should be. NY claims to do a lot but really it is just lip service on paper.
