Taharas Hamishpacha International/Mikvah.org, under the administration of Mrs. Chaya Sara Zarchi, announced the culmination of a year-long course of intense study that produced a roster of Certified Taharas Hamishpacha Instructors.
The Kallah Teachers Training Course, initiated by Mikvah.org, spear-headed by renowned Kallah Teacher, Mrs. Sara Morozow of Crown Heights, and implemented by a panel of expert Taharas Hamishpacha instructors, including Mrs. Chaya Klein of Mikvah.org and Mrs. Keren Blum, Shlucha to Columbia University, kicked off with an intense, in-person, week-long series of sessions.
Women from around the world came to Crown Heights, where they participated in sessions given by select Rabbanim, physicians, therapists and specialists, in areas pertinent to today’s modern Taharas Hamishpacha Instructor.
Covering a wide range of Halacha, Hadracha, psychological, medical and emotional aspects of this vital mitzvah, the students were given a smorgasbord of sessions that addressed so many of the issues that arise, as first responders to the newly married, the newly observant and beyond.
The week-long intense study was followed by three months of twice weekly sessions, live for those in and near Crown Heights, and via webinar for those out of town and overseas.
The students passed rigorous testing, covering what they learned in areas of Halacha, Hadracha medical, emotional and psychological areas of study. They then gave model lessons that were reviewed and rated as well.
“I cannot imagine a more intense and full-bodied course!” exclaims Mrs. G. “I would be honored to send my daughter to one of these teachers before her marriage!”
The course concluded with a final three weeks of sessions that students were required to attend, either in person or via webinar, that took them beyond learning the material, to instructing them on how to implement the months of study, as teachers and instructors. Certified Instructors will each be assigned experienced instructors to act as their mentors and guides, as they embark on this magnificent journey.
“Being a part of this groundbreaking course has been life changing. The amount of time, energy, kochos and forethought that went in to every aspect is astounding. The organizers had no small task. Every detail from practical, to technical, was top notch. No subject matter was left out; no important topic was forgotten. Experts in each and every field were consulted and imparted their expertise in a most informative manner. While the task of being a kallah teacher is monumental, and affects generations to come, we have all definitely been given a strong yesod in halacha and hashkafa from the experts, from which to build.” Mrs. R. S.
All certified teachers will be listed on Mikvah.org. Teachers will participate in continued education to maintain their certification.
“Mikvah.org is honored to set the new gold standard of Taharas Hamishpacha Instructors,” says Mrs. Zarchi. “We look forward to ushering in the arrival of Moshiach with a generation, joyful to keep Taharas Hamishpacha with pride and care.”
Mikvah.org thanked Mrs. Kraindy Klein for her gracious hospitality in opening her heart and home to the students, providing the many amenities that enhanced the learning experience, R’ Yossy and Rivkah Laine of The Print House for their kindness and generosity, and the entire staff of Mikvah.org for their dedication and commitment behind the scenes that allowed the entire course to flow smoothly and efficiently.
