It’s amazing how he’s committed to learning rambam while serving in the IDF!
Gee, I can’t wait to hear why it is wrong to serve in the IDF
Special guy – inspiring then, and now!
Show your kids this Jewish hero and emulate him
If there is someone who is a true roll model it is the brave soldiers of the IDF

Bsd children understand automatically from chumash v chamushim alu bnei yisroel. Spirituality and physically. Is there a greater mitvah than that of the security of klall yisroel? It’s not for nothing that the Rebbe calls his chassidim chayalim!!! Tzivos Hashem!!! Vehigadeta levincha!!! Our strength is in Torah avoda and ahavas yisroel. This chayal has it all . The Rebbes message was always that the safest and most effective deterrent to war in the middle east is a strong Israel. Chitas and a strong defense is the Rebbes message . May moshiach come immediately before shavuos v rau col basar yachdav!!!… Read more »
You and your fellow soldiers, especially your chabad fellow soldiers, inspire us all everyday.

This is phenomenal! A young man who has many responsibilities makes time to learn Rambam. We may all learn from him.
That being said, we have to be careful with the message we give our children. We should not give the message that it is ok to go serve in the IDF. This is obviously contrary to the Rebbe’s wishes and directives.
There’s one in every crowd!
Thank you, and to all those similar.
You have a great zechus.
I served in the IDF, I kept up with chitas & rambam, I also learnt Chassidus daily, wrapped tefillin with my fellow soldiers and protected the Jews of Israel.
If you are talking about education, how about starting with teaching your children of the severity of the Avera of מוציא שם רע. There are many Chabad boys who risked and still risk their lives to protect the Jews of the holy Land.
Teach your children to look deeply and certainly give the benefit of the doubt before jumping to conclusions. Children that are not able to READ an article, certainly shouldn’t be “looking” at COL or any website that is meant to be read.
So do your job and educate them.
So that this beautiful Tzadik (and all of Klal Yisroel) can learn Rambam in true peace
and admiration for IDF soldiers. Do you think it’s beneficial to share this picture? To me it seems that the message our children take from it is the army man and his uniform and gun. They don’t get the subtle, beautiful, idea that this bachur is so committed to rambam.
What did the Rebbe say: “they are Tzadikim, putting their lives on the line for the Jewish people.”
All of his kinderlach!
Very inspiring
