Machon L’Yahadus in Crown Heights is holding their annual Boutique Auction celebrating the birthday of Rebbetzin Chana this Sunday evening, eve of 28 Teves, January 14th.
“On behalf of our entire student body and staff, I invite all women and girls to attend this special event honoring Rebbetzin Chana and benefitting our full-time women’s yeshiva,” said Rabbi Shloma Majeski, principal of Machon L’Yahadus.
Participants will enjoy a magnificent evening of music and inspiration. As guests make their selection from the spectacular collection of unique prizes, they’ll enjoy a light dairy buffet featuring mouthwatering pastas and a salad bar by Kaff Kaffe, decadent pastries by Danish & Dough, and comforting hot beverages by Chocolatte — the perfect way to warm up on a cold winter night.
Guests will then be intrigued and entertained by two amazing women currently studying at Machon L’Yahadus.
Chavah Levine hails from Papua New Guinea which is one of the most culturally diverse and least explored countries in the world. She will captivate the audience with the story of her intriguing journey from her life in Papua New Guinea to Crown Heights.
Liron Gavri, originally from Israel, came to New York to pursue her career in music and acting. Her exceptional talent set her apart and she was quickly accepted onto “Broadway’s Rising Stars of 2017”, but soon after that Liron gave up her career on Broadway to learn in Machon L’Yahadus in pursuit of a life of Torah and Mitzvos.
On Sunday night, in her first performance since leaving Broadway, Liron will indulge the crowd with a stunning vocal performance as she unleashes her talent and passion for music.
Machon L’Yahadus’s auction offers the rare opportunity to win a dollar from the Rebbe, as well as other fabulous prizes including a ZELDA wig, cash, gift cards for jewelry and more.
Tickets for all prizes are just $20 each, or 6 tickets for $100, 13 tickets for $200, 28 tickets for $360, and 5 tickets in each box (55 tickets) for $500. You can check out all of the prizes and purchase tickets at MachonAuction.com.
The event will take place at United Lubavitch Yeshiva, 570 Crown Street. Doors will open at 8 PM and the program will begin at 9 PM. Admission is $20 and includes a $20 auction ticket and a ticket to the entrance raffle.
All proceeds from the auction will help Machon L’Yahadus continue helping Jewish girls and young women find their way in their journey to true Torah-Judaism, empowering them to go on to build their own warm Jewish homes.
