New Format For the Gala Banquet

The Gala Banquet of the annual Kinus Hashluchim will feature multiple speakers via video and live presentation, and will move to a larger venue in New Jersey.

The organizing committee of the Kinus Hashluchim has announced that this year's Kinus Hashluchim gala banquet will feature multiple speakers, via video and live presentations.

The remarks will be given by Shluchim and lay leaders from around the world, each delivering a brief address about the impact of the Rebbe's Shluchim and the global Shlichus network.

A fast-paced, multimedia program, intertwined with inspirational speakers and moving video presentations, will highlight Chabad's heroic response to recent natural disasters in the Caribbean Islands and terror attacks in recent years, including in Nice, France.

Moving Shlichus-life presentations will feature captivating footage and uplifting messages from Shluchim stationed in remote locations across the globe, including Ghana, Africa; Birobidzhan, Russia; and Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

Greetings and remarks will be delivered by Shluchim from Chevron, Eretz Yisroel; Bangkok, Thailand; and Temecula, California.

The banquet will be addressed by world renowned attorney Benjamin Brafman of New York, who will share nostalgic memories of his youth growing up adjacent to 770 and his observations on the unprecedented growth of Chabad ever since. Yisrael Schachter of Toronto will share inspiring anecdotes of his interaction with shluchim in far-flung locations, and Charles Goldberg of Kansas, sharing his remarkable experiences with numerous campus shluchim.

The Kinus banquet will also be moving to a larger and more spacious hall in Bayonne, New Jersey, to accommodate Shluchim and their guests more comfortably. The banquet will be on Sunday, 1 Kislev, 5778 – November 19, 2017.

Relive the moments from last year's Kinus!

Proud to be Born and Raised in Bayonne!
Where the foundations of Torah, Avodah and Gemilat Chassadim were inculcated into those privileged to be raised here.

How fitting that the Kinus HaShluchim (and I hope that the Kinus HaShluchos as well IY"H!) should be held in my home (town!)

My personal, shturemdika, heartfelt message to the Shluchim !!!!-----

Right now, I am 62 years old, k.e.h., kane yirbu, about to turn 63. I VERY CLEARLY remember Tuv Shin Non Aleph and Bais, 5751 & 2, 1991 and 1992, and the gigantic Koch of the Rebbe (Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson of righteous memory,) about Be'as Ha'Moshiach NOW MAMASH !!!!!!!!!!! I am a fellow Lubavitcher. I ask, I ask especially etc. etc. etc.,

And I know the answer---- IT AIN'T THERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rather, it is business as usual.

Maybe all the committees of the kinus hashluchim can do some last minute planning and squeeze it into the Kinus.

To finish up on a happy note--- lets try our best for achdus and ahavas Yisroel, and lets all rededicate ourselves to
keeping the Shulchan Orach and MINHAGEI CHABAD !!!!
