Chai Kids – a program designed to bring joy to children affected by illness – invited all of their members to enjoy an exciting day of activities and entertainment in Crown Heights this past sukkos.
The children took part in an array of exciting arts and crafts – decorating challah covers, creating amazing sticker scenes, and everything in between!
Master facepaint artist, Devorah Broh, delighted kids of all ages with her fun and whimsical designs, before everyone was treated to a gourmet lunch. Pizza, sushi, fries, salad, and snacks were on hand for children and their families to enjoy.
The day was topped off by a hilarious and exhilarating magic show with Cordone the Magician. He performed stunts and tricks that left the kids wide-eyed with awe, including a daring escape from a straitjacket.
Events like these are just one small part of the services that Bikur Cholim provides to families in our community who are affected by illness. The Chai Kids program also provides toy packages, birthday gifts, Chanukah gifts, and various events throughout the year.
