Third International Shabbaton for Jewish Girls: Happening in Milan!
A 14 year old girl from Milan.
A 17 year old from Paris.
An 18 year old from Yerushalayim.
A 16 year old from England or Sweden or Germany.
When Jewish girls from all over the world come together for a simple weekend, think of what happens.
Hundreds of borders are crossed. Dozens of minds convene. And triple the amount of inspiration is shared, all within the span of 72 hours.
This is unity. This is power. This is Shabbos Achdus.
Beis Chana Seminary of Milan, Italy invites girls attending Chabad schools from all over Europe and Israel to spend a grand Shabbos together over the weekend of Parshas Bo (February 4).
The program will be geared towards Lubavitch girls age 14 and older. All girls of high school, seminary, and post-seminary age are welcome to join.
Among featured speakers will be Rebbetzin Garelik, the Rebbe’s first shlucha to Italy. With a wealth of experience and stories to share, her words will no doubt inspire.
Rabbi Kaplan from Eretz Yisroel will also be joining the program to farbreng. As Mashpia in Yeshivat Mayanot and Machon Shoshanat Yerushalayim, he has a vast knowledge of Chassidus to share and enrich the Shabbaton.
The girls of Beis Chana Seminary are working very hard to turn this into an inspiring, meaningful program that will be remembered long after everyone flies home.
Every girl attending will be provided with a place to stay, a warm atmosphere, food, and much more. This is a unique opportunity to meet other girls from around the world in a wholesome setting of preparation for Yud Shvat.
The goal of this Shabbaton is to strengthen ourselves to heed the Rebbe’s directive to prepare ourselves for the coming of Moshiach in a spirit of Achdus.
So please spread the word! If you have relatives, know Shluchim or friends of Chabad, or are a part of a community with girls who would be interested, please forward this on. There will be two trips on Sunday – a half day excursion for those who wish to stay local to Milan, or a full day trip for an additional fee.
Mrs Garelik is the best teacher, mashpia, and is an inspiration to all. Lucky girls to go and learn from her.
