A large Farbrengan was held in Oholei Torah Zal in honor of Tes Vav Elul, the anniversary of the establishment of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim by the Rebbe Rashab in 1897.
The Farbrengan was preceded with live music and dancing, as per the directive of the Rebbe that Tes Vav Elul must cause a ‘Chodorom’ – loosely translated as “a great revolution.”
The new Shluchim for the year to Oholei Torah Zal were introduced during the Farbrengan, and each shared a few words of encouragement for the coming year.
The Mashpi’im of the Zal farbrenged, and were joined by Reb Mendel Morozow, who shared many memories of the founding and early years of Oholei Torah.
Daniel Springer, a bochur in the Yeshiva, played chassidic music during the evening.
