A series of historical Menorah lightings will take place this Chanukah in the Talbiyeh neighborhood of Jerusalem, organized by Shluchim Eli and Chana Canterman.
A Menorah at the upscale Mamilla Mall will be lit by dignitaries and other famous personalities each night of Chanukah.
They will light a Menorah exactly like the one lit in 770 Eastern Parkway – Lubavitch World Headquarters each Chanukah.
The Menorah was crafted especially for the occasion by Crown Heights silversmith R’ Hirsch Pekkar, who created the original one for the Rebbe’s shul years ago.
