A group of seniors and adults with special needs gathered last week in the home of Yerachmiel and Rochel Andrusier in Crown Heights.
It was yet another evening of joy organized by Mrs. Devorah Scheiner, a community activist that hands out food before holidays and organizes these occasional evening to uplift spirits.
The line-up of entertainers and musicians who volunteered their time included the multi talented Eli Gerstner and singer Benny Friedman.
The orchestra was composed of the talented Benshimon, Yitzchok Hurowitz and Yonasan Rothman on the violins, Chaim Deutsch with his guitar, and gifted pianist Sarah Dukes.
Together, they played and sang some new songs and the classics, encouraging the ‘special’ men present to sing along and dance.
Mashpia Rabbi Michoel Seligson delivered a Dvar Torah.
Kol Hakavod that you pursued ur passion and put your talent to such great use! Your life and personality come out in your music. I love it!
