Rivka, I remember saying your father’s kapital daily when he wasn’t well. All of the tefillos definitely made a difference and brought more ruchnios into the world. You always spoke with great respect and awe about your father and I am sure he is SO proud and joyous on this special event. It looks like it was really special. May we share in many simchos together.

Beautiful! May the family continue in the Chassidishe ways that Naftoli has imbued in all of you – and that you continue to follow with your Mother KA”H!

…”the Rabbonim in charge of the Semicha program refused to release his Semicha certificate, being that he was attending university. Naftali shared this with the Rebbe and shortly thereafter his smicha certificate was released….”

This man was a kiddush Hashem and inspiration to me ever since I read about him. may all those who seek an honorable parnassah and go to college/ University follow his example that it can be done and one can remain a Ner L’ehoir to the world.

beautiful

What a special article, and what a special family. Now I understand where his daughter, the inimitable Mrs. Toron (chicago principal), gets it from…

Rivka Berg clearly inherited her father’s OBM brilliance & Chassidishkeit. She was one of my most memorable students with her eidel ways and commitment to learning. The apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree – you make your father proud.

Growing up in Baltimore we had the privilege of seeing Dr. Berg every Shabbos. My father would rave about him saying he was a Jewish Hero and that no one knows the extent of his amazing work especially the way he helped Israel.

very inspirational!

Rabbi Dr. Berg was a most inspirational story- maybe col could post online resources where people could read more on him? Either BM or Kfar chabad magazine had a remarkable write up on him. yehi zichro boruch
