Is that what it,s going to look like? Hiding the nextdoor house? The crown heights mikva on union street is very beautiful, freindly kind mikva ladies, all ,supplies plentiful. The only lack is ROOMS. May this mikva get doone fast ,be an inspiration to build more and more,,,

Is that a joke? CH people house and feed guests from all over the world and get theri doors knopcked on for $ for every moissad in the world. People from the world are tired of giving $ to CH?

It’s a good thing you’re just some hot air balloon and not the appointed spokesperson for worldwide humanity.

Raise money by selling life-time memberships. Ridiculous that CH’ers shouldn’t be paying this themselves.

B.h. That exppantion is on. But quantity is needed rather than luxury.why 2boros when more rooms could use that space?
Also people think only of writing sefer toras for niftorim when a womens’ mikva talkes priority! They should give to mikva

There is nothing wrong with out of towners contributing to all Crown Heights institutions. They benefit at some point of the mikvaos, the schools, the organizations

competition is a good thing

The CH mikva was recently renovated and is beautiful! There is a new phone appt. system. I still choose to go there because the Rebbe used it, and it’s better than ever.

amazing

so excited. Its about time something changed in this neighbourhood. The community is growing and we have a million new shuls opening to keep up with the growing demand, and a host of new men’s mikvahs but still only ONE womens’ mikvah. Its a disgrace.
We should all support tis wondeful project!!

To Donate by check.

Beautiful!

So excited for this new Mikvah!
Kol hakavod Moshe Pinson for taking on this huge responsibilty.
Its true that 8 rooms is not alot but it will definitely be a huge help and hopefully will motivate someone else to build a third mikvah- CH can definitely use 3 mikvahs!!

will this be for the regular folk?
July 29, 2012 11:33 pm

Is there parking at that location? I wouldn’t want to walk from 2 blocks away at night in that area and will the regular “poor” person feel comfortable or will this only be for the “rich” of crown heights?

Too bad they didn’t have the foresight for a new mikvah when they planned the Plex on Nostrand 🙂

We are so moved by Rabbi Pinson and the wonderful volunteer woRk by Maggie Rogatsky, that in honor of our daughter Brocha upcoming marriage we pledge the first of many checks for $1000.00

Humbled and proud, and by the way, keep banging!

THANKS FOR THE INCREDIBLE WORK>

if the building will look on the outside like the pic above it will attract attention since it’s not bricks like the rest of buildings nearby. i think such a place should not be the focus of attention- it has to blend with what’s around-TZNIUSDIK- maybee add a long awning at the entrance and exit to conceal a little the pp that come and go.

Great Job!!
July 29, 2012 10:17 pm

We are so desperate for more mikvaos in crown heights,, but did anyone else notice that there will be EIGHT preparation rooms? What is EIGHT preparation rooms?? We need so much more than that,, I guess the next mikvah should be built closer to Nostrand,,, and needs to be in the planning stages already!

I think the current Mikvah should get their act together, or they will have to close down when this one openes, cause who will want to go to the current one the way it’s ran now.
