Beit Chana of Tzfat’s first ever, live streaming farbrengen was a great success, with over 1,000 participants from 25 countries and 18 states.
300 students of the school were joined in the live farbrengen with Rabbi Yosef Chitrik, the school’s Menahel, which was streamed to over 600 video viewers, 50 phone users, and 100 audio stream participants and other alumni.
Participants were from many countries, including the US, Israel, France, Canada, Ukraine, Brazil, Australia, Austria, Russia, Argentina, UK, Croatia, Switzerland, Italy, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, Luxenbuorg, Morocco, Netherlands, Peru, Philippines and others.
Participants also tuned in from 18 US states, including New York, California, New Jersey, Illinois, Florida, Maryland, Wisconsin, Texas, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Michigan, Tennesse, Alaska, Hawaii, Colorado, Conneticut, and Minnesota.
The energy during the farbrengen was tangible, as participants were keenly aware of their sisters and mothers around the world sharing in the hiskashrus on a grand scale in honor of Yud Tes Kislev.
“Thank you for the most uplifting, inspiring, amazing farbrengen!” wrote one participant, “There’s nothing like the farbrengens of Beit Chana! It warmed up the heart and the soul!”
“There are no words to thank you to giving us the opportunity to be at such a chasidishe farbrengen even being so far away,” wrote another. “You can’t imagine the memories it brings me….16 years ago I was there in seminary, and Rav Chitrik is still there with the same energy!”
In response to the tremendously positive feedback, this Yud Shvat the school will be streaming live again on Thursday evening, Ohr L’Yud Shvat, Feb 2, 2012, 9pm Israel time.
The farbrengen will take place with Rabbi Chitrik, Rabbi Friedman and 4 guest Shluchos joining in by video from around the world.
