Oholei Torah 8th Grade Graduates

Oholei Torah's eighth grade graduated this week, and were presented with their diplomas with their proud families in attendance.

A most impressive Graduation ceremony was held earlier this week in the Oholei Torah Ballroom. The families of the graduates were visibly impressed as the students marched in, class by class, and took their seats as the program was about to begin.

The ceremony began with the Rebbes Kapitol said by Yeshaya Rottenberg, then Levi Schanowitz shared a Dvar Torah and a siyum. Rabbi Hershel Lustig, Dean of the Elementary Department, greeted the graduates. Heartfelt thanks were given by Shmuely Bronchtain. Rabbi Ephraim Mintz, thanked the school for all their efforts on behalf of the parents of the eighth grade.

A video was shown of the accomplishments and activities of this past year, both in the school and of the OTEG program.

The Rebbeim and support staff were given gifts as a token of appreciation, and each student in addition to his diploma was also given a sefer as a memento of this day of simcha. The diplomas and gifts were presented by the dedicated teachers.

The Graduation ceremony was arranged by Rabbi Sholom Goldstein, newly appointed Principal, who has had great success this past year in implementing many new and exciting programs for his division.

Excerpts and translation to english from Levy Y Sanowicz Dvar Torah
With permission of Rabonim, Rabayim, and My Father and the Honorable crowd assembled here for the graduation.

Praise to Hashem Creator Of the world.
We thank Hashem for our fortune which he set us from those who occupy our time in Yeshiva learning Torah and we beseech Hakodosh Boruch Hu as he helped us with the elementary so should he give us the strength to grow from strength to strength to be Chayolim Chasidim Yerai Shomaim and Lamdonim.

We all assembeled certainly are trying to emulate and act according to the will of our Rebbe MHM and the Rebbes desire is that each one of us from child to Yeshiva Bachur parents and grandparents should use the maximum talents which Hashem afforded to make from the world a dwelling place for HKBH.

Here in Yeshiva this is expressed by learning diligently and when a bachur reaches Bar Mitzva age to learn at a minimum Gemoro with commentaries of Rashi and Tosfos and being Lubavitcher Chasidim to learn Tzemach Tzedeks commentary.
In our free time to do all the mivtzoim and particular the last Mivtza Kabolas pnai Moshiach to publicize to the world the time of redemption has arrived.

On behalf of all talmidim we would like to thank the founder of the yeshiva RABBI Michoel ALH ZtL
And to long life my grand uncle Rabbi Rosenfeld
My Rabbaim Rabbi Oster, Rabbi Volwovski and all my teachers from Pre-1a until present which they all had a positive impact of making us whom we are.
I should mention their names but they are many and time does not allow for mentioning every individual.
To my grandparents and Parents that nurtured and gave so much of themselves I thank you.
May hashem Grant you and to all assembled that you should always shep Nachas from your children and grandchildren you should always be able to say with pride Reu Bonim shegidalti.

We are about to depart in each in his ways for the summer. A person does not depart from his friend only thru a Halocho.

Explained The Rambam Hilchos Ishus Perek 8 Halocho 7 why the Rambam mentions RABBI Akiva from all the Tanaim when he wants to describe a Chochom ? Gemoro menochos 29b How Rabbi Akiva was distinguished in Chochma to the extent That Moshe Rabainu asked Hashem you have an individual like Rabbi Akiva and you give the Torah thru Me ?

Cited R Akivas involvement in disseminating Torah to the extent of Mesiras Nefesh in the time when Rome decreed against learning Torah and when the romans captured Rabbi Akiva and tortured him The heavely Angels said to HKBH this is the torah and this is the reward Hashem answers Chelkom Bachaim and a Bas Kol came forth and said Fortunate are you Rabbi Akiva which you prepared to Olam Haba. Gemora Berochos 61b.

RABBI Akivas involvement with Moshiach
Rambam Hilchos Melochim Perek 11 Halocho 3
Melech Hamoshiach does not have to prove himself thru signs or make wonders or revive the dead as we see from RABBI Akiva which was a true Chochom from the sages of the Mishna and he pronounced Ben Kuziva the king to be Melech Hamoshiach.

In the Hardships of Golus in the Time of Chilul Hashem and Israel to the extreme Rabbi Akiva sees the future the Geula when Yidden will reach the ultimate good in Gashmiyus and Ruchniyus as we see in the Siyum of Mesechta Makos.

Made the Sium of Mesechte Makos with the Rebbes MHM biur that RABBI Akiva saw in the second story in the churban the beginning of Good.

Concluded that our Rebbe MHM just like RABBI Akiva sees in every happening Geula In fact the Rebbe explains the very word Geula has the word Goila with an additional aleph to reveal in everything the Alupho Shel Olam.

The Rebbe is Chochom Shebedorainu Navie Shebedorainu and Moshiach Shebedorainu and made the call Hinai Hinai Moshiach BO, And as RABBI Akiva the Rebbes disseminated and disseminates torah thru out the world In his zechus thousands all over the world are learning Rambam Yomi in his zechus Yeshivas all over the world are established and flourishing.

Let us remember his address to the shluchim Parshas Chayai Sara 5752 in honor of the Kinus Hashluchim and this was his final address as of today to the Kinnus Hashluchim.
The purpose of the Kinus Hashluchim Haolomi is to talk thru and accept resolution to bring to action how to fulfill the special shlichus for our time Kabolas Pnai Moshiach Tzidkainu.

Fortunate are us that we were chosen to be the Chayolai Bais Dovid and with Hashems help we will forever go in his ways.

Yechi Adoinaninu Moirainu Verabainu Melech Hamoshiach Leolam Voed.
