In advance of the new CD titled ‘Kumzing,’ producers have released the song “Al Titen Es Nachaloscha L’Cherpa,” performed by singer David Gabay.
Shalom Wagshal, producer, said: “I live in Beitar Illit, and when we wrote this song we were thinking of President Barack Obama’s demand to stop expanding the settlements in Israel, including my home town of Beitar Illit.
“The song is from the Yom Kippur prayers, where it says that the Jewish people should not be controlled by the other nations.”
Kumzing, produced by Shalom Wagshal of Haminagnim Orchestra, with Moishy Roth, is a collection of songs by Lipa Schmeltzer, Dovid Gabay, Berri Weber, Yosef Chaim Shwekey, Udi Davidi and Ori Avraham. Also features special guest Rabbi Chaim Banet.
