I never knew Rabbi Tevel… but the young boy (Eilenberg) said it all !!!
Eilenberg “Boychik” how did you get to know Rabbi Tevel?
My children also lost their father at a young age. I can feel the pain of Rabbi Tevel’s children and wife.
Stay strong and all the Best to you in every way!

You have a good point in general, there is a need to go out and care and do for those who really need it. But your comment is not applicable to this particular article because, clearly, Rabbi Tevel got the amazing response to his passing because he was an extraordinary person who went out of his way to help exactly the types of people you described.

how uppsetting i also agree with

What a mentch Reb Yossel was. He always had a smile, despite hiw own and others tzures that he was involved with. He is sorely missed. One can only hope that his children and the hundreds of people who were inspired by him will emulate his ways and truly exemplify genuine love to fellow Jews and human beings.

To make a donation. I have never met this man, but this tribute video brought me to tears. What a rarity of a person, and how great the loss for those left behind.

May his memory inspire all of us to increase in our acts of goodness and kindness.

To describe the vacuum Rabbi Tevel left behind
We miss you,but we are going to be strong as you thought us to be, and have emunah as you thought us to have and we are going to be determent just like you where.
Rabbi Tevel you have created a small but powerfull army which will move forward just the way you thought us.
And YIH H’B will have mercy in his children and united us all with the coming of Moshiah in our day.
Thank You so much for being our mentor, what a zechus did we all have.
