The Jewish Heritage Centre for Children (JHCC) in Leeds, England, which broke ground on their new building last year, is now breaking ground in the world of video.
Lubavitch of Leeds, headed by Rabbi Yirmiyah Angyalfi, with financial help from the Heritage Lottery Fund, has commissioned the production of several professional videos that are featured in the Heritage Centre museum and which are now featured on Jewish.TV.
The shtetl videos were filmed in the center’s recreated shtetl exhibit and include The Scribe’s House, The Village Shop, The Candle Store and The Lifecycle House.
The videos, written by Chaim and Ruth Bell and shot by Simon Marcus of Addictive Media, are geared for an audience with little or no knowledge of Judaism.
