Rabbi Dov Greenberg, a Shliach known for his brilliance in condensing deep Torah thoughts into brief sound bites, recently recorded a new web series.
A crew from Jewish.TV – Chabad.org’s video website – filmed him delivering some of his short but powerful insights for entitled quite fittingly, Jewish Gems.
Each “gem” is a 2-3 minute clip of Greenberg’s take on a fundamental concept in Judaism.
Greenberg, Director of Chabad of Stanford in Palo Alto, is recognized by his colleagues as the driving creative force behind Shluchim Speeches – a service where he makes his unique style of condensing deep thoughts available to other Shluchim.
Several episodes of Jewish Gems are already uploaded and more installments in the series will be going live over the coming weeks, COLlive.com was told.
Here is one of the first episodes, “Law in Judaism” which includes a fascinating story about New York City’s first Jewish mayor, Fiorello LaGuardia.

I very much appreciate the rabbi’s ability to translate Biblical text into concise communication that I can use and learn from.
