what a shame!
November 3, 2010 11:29 am

for all this big talk how come no one came out to vote for raitport?! he got a lousy 1400 votes? and i have to imagine that there are many people outside the chabad cummunity that voted republican? this is such an embarrasment! i guess the pac is more informed than we would give them credit for. but the big news is that we like to scream alot but in reality do nothing about it. if we want a community member to run and even have a chance we need to go out and vote. shame on all of us… Read more »

Raitport recieved 1,496 votes 9% on the republican balot as apposed to 16,068 votes recieved by Camara on the Deocratic balot.

Supporting a loosing caniddate by such a large margin is only shooting our community in the foot.

Out of 150 seats and 300 candidates for NY State Assembly ony 14 candidates were in the singly didgit collum. What delusional point was were Raitport and his crew trying to make.

We want safety
November 2, 2010 11:45 pm

We want to be able to walk the streets with relative security and feel like we are not in a zoo. None of the current politicians have done that for us.

why chanina
November 2, 2010 5:31 pm

is he a republican, democrat or right to lifer? why does he get all the megaillah?

Please tell me
November 2, 2010 3:52 pm

What exactly have these elected officials done for our community in the past?
That is a simple question that I’ve yet to hear an answer to.
Until I have the answer to that question I will not vote for any incumbent, and if anybody wants their vote to count and want elected officials to be accountable to the community, I believe that they should do the same.

vote republican
November 2, 2010 2:53 pm

get the dems out of the majority

can't hold it in...
November 2, 2010 2:26 pm

this is such b.s. PAC is a joke…i know very few people in our community who takes their advise.

chevreh and ladies, the day is still young…go out and vote for mendy and any republican that catches your eye.

comment # 7 above summed it up perfectly.

I am oversees but I manage to vote using an abesntee ballot I voted straight Republican you need to be stupid to vote otherwise yes Brooklyn is a very strong democrat area but we gotta show that we won’t always vote for the incumbant simply because he/she is currently in power I voted for certain people even if I don’t really like them just for the sake of not helping the Democrats and how can they endorse Clark I mean some moral values are in order we will be stuck with her for ever if we vote this way

no way im vote for clarck
November 2, 2010 2:12 pm

make sure to vote for josef dioguardi for US senate

Don't vote Democrat!
November 2, 2010 1:59 pm

Contrary to what they make you believe, the government does not have any money….they just seek the power to take money from some and give to others. Those who need food stamps and other assistance should all vote REPUBLICAN so that those who do have money can use it to support local Tzedaka organizations instead or Obama and cronies agendas. PS this of course does not apply to those who would like to support projects that include redoing (eliminating lanes) traffic patterns, changing the signs around new york to lowercase at a cost of $110 each totaling millions and other… Read more »

Oy Vey!
November 2, 2010 1:57 pm

If this is what the CH PAC endorses then it is time to throw them out!!! Endorsing the hard core libs is a serious problem. The Dems are a bunch of lunatic liberals who suffer from a mental disorder called liberalism. For CH residents to vote for such people makes you wonder what is wrong with them?

Vote for one of our own
November 2, 2010 12:37 pm

Vote for Mendy Raitport!

I think you should rephrase, “The PAC has endorsed Karim Camara who is running against one of our own Mendy Raitport.

More of the same I think it’s time for America to throw all the bums out that includes New York and Crown Heights.

Schumer=Obama
November 2, 2010 12:23 pm

Voting for Chuck Schumer is just like voting for our wonderful prsident Barak Hussain Obama. They share the same liberal views.
Both not friends of Israel.
Both believe in Cap and trade.
Both are for spending more money.
Both are for higher taxes.

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS SCHUMER IS JEWISH.

NOT ALWAYS A GOOD THING (WHEN THEY ARE IN OFFICE)

spot on about malamud not doing his homework, he didn’t look into anything i bet.
i know very little about comptroller race but i DO know Dinapoli’s a joke and wilson is solid, everyone knows that, i guess MM doesn’t read.

chosid for all republicans
November 2, 2010 11:36 am

as a chosud i endorse all republicans .

HAHAHA
November 2, 2010 11:35 am

Zaki looks like James Bond.

Dinapoli? Clueless.
November 2, 2010 11:35 am

Clueless choice. Obviously did zero research, and Malamud needed to put something out so he just goes with the incumbent because he probably has no idea who he’s running against. Allow me to inform you: His name is Harry Wilson, He’s a Republican, and was endorsed by every major paper in NYS, that includes the NY time, Daily News, Buffalo News etc. (all very liberal papers) why you may ask? well anyone with the most basic knowledge of the race is aware that Dinapoli is what his liberal friends describe as a “bumbling idiot” and a “weasel”. Poor Malamud didn’t… Read more »

some of us don’t “want” food stamps, rather, it is a matter of survival in our shchuna!

(FOR RIATPORT)

Who cares what the useless PAC thinks?
November 2, 2010 10:57 am

When any candidate or elected official visits such a house like the one here, why on earth would they think there are hungry, unemployed, desperate people in our community? I’ve never seen such glitz. Come to MY house & see how REAL PEOPLE LIVE. Not all Jews have such lifestyles. Vote REPUBLICAN, including Mendy Raitport (nice that the PAC turns on its own!) This PAC is out of touch with ordinary people. Who are the members, anyway? Rich, fancy people who don’t know what it is to be desperate, or political wannabees. I’m just shocked at my good friend Shea… Read more »

Don't treat us like dummies
November 2, 2010 10:53 am

Why don’t they tell us WHY to vote for these people?
What do they think we are their puppets?
I am not voting for those they endorsed.
If they want the community to vote with them they should give us reasons and RESULTS!

dont stand by yr brothes blood

November 2, 2010 10:38 am

It’s November 2nd. Don’t forget to take out the trash. Vote Republican.

We may want food stamps. But it ain’t all about handout. Frum Yidden have conservative values… Vote for what is important!!!

throw the bums out
November 2, 2010 10:18 am

Vote anybody but a democrat, if they see that we are as normal as the rest of America, then even if the PACs choices win in our district, the elected officials will start respecting us. Yes lets have 4000 votes for Reitport and get respect, even if he loses. We’ll get more from any politician if we pull this one off. 4000 votes for Reitport is the order of the day.

nice pictures
November 2, 2010 10:03 am

who cares about their endorsments? why did it make it to the news?
