In honor of the Shloshim since the passing of Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu obm, JEM presents footage of Israel's Chief Rabbi at the Chanukah Live celebration 18 years ago.

Today 25 Tammuz, marks the Shloshim since the passing of Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, obm, Chief Rabbi of Israel.

In connection with the Shloshim, JEM has searched through their archive and found this footage from eighteen years ago.

In 1992, during the famous Chanukah Live broadcast where cities all over the world joined together via satellite to celebrate Chanukah. At the event, which linked the Rebbe at 770 live with the Kosel in Yerushalayim, where Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu spoke about the greatness of the Rebbe and the work he has done for Klal Yisroel.
