Rabbi Yosef Gutnick, who represents Chabad in matters of Shleimus Ha’aretz, has maintained a close friendship with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for two decades, and the door of the Prime Minister’s office is always open to him.
While Gutnick was in Israel for the Passover holiday, a special meeting was held in Netanyahu’s offices, where the two discussed the current political situation, and Rabbi Gutnick encouraged the Prime Minister to remain strong on the vital interests of Israel.
Rabbi Gutnick reiterated again to Netanyahu the Rebbe’s clear position on Shleimus Ha’aretz, which is to stand strong without any concessions, saying that this will bring true peace according to the Torah, and will win the respect of other nations and the United States towards Israel.
Gutnick also met with members of the security cabinet, and told them of the Rebbe’s opinion on Shleimus Ha’aretz and Israel’s security.
a real good place to start, is THOROUGH knowledge & understanding of the Rebbe’s view & irrefutable arguments, from every angle, on the matter (-not just vague statements like ‘the Rebbe’s against giving away land’).
Then we will truly understand middle eastern politics.
More importantly, then we will know how to persuade & encourage our misguided brethren both, in washington & especially in the Israeli gov.
Rabbi Gutnick! Continue in your avodas Hakodesh!
your the man keep bibi strong..
Gutnick is a true leader, lubavitches biggest baal tzedokah and a tru example to all. Kol hakavod
The Rebbe zy”a chose different people for different tasks; he decentralized the leadership of Chabad lubavitch, many people assigned to a different tasks.
Hopefully no one treads on the others toes.
Rabbi Gutnick is hopefully giving over the position of the Rebbe in a diplomatic but firm manner to the Prime Minister and his cabinet.
Let us hope Bibi has the strtength to to withstand the Obama Administration’s pressure and the left wing elements in Israel who believe in the disaterous philosophy of ” Land for Peace”.
