Coming into the month of Nissan, Crown Heights landlord Yossi Popack and his wife Batsheva are already donating the traditional ‘Maos Chitin’ (help for the needy for Pesach).
Local families will be receiving 4 pounds of Shmura Matzah free, baked in the Crown Heights Matzah Bakery under the supervision of CHK.
The distribution will take place this Sunday, March 21, at 712 Crown Street building (corner Schenectady), from 11 AM until 5 PM.
COLlive was told that only families who reside in Crown Heights are eligible for the Pesach gift. A picture ID will be required to verify.
Zalman Lezell, a Popack employee, will be coordinating the distribution.
First come first serve, we’re told.
