A community-wide event to strengthen unity and belief, in light of recent tragedies, will take place in Crown Heights Thursday, January 14.
Organized by the Igud Avreichim organization, the event will be held at the main 770 shul at Lubavitch World Headquarters in Brooklyn at 8:30 pm.
It will mark the conclusion of Shivah for Mrs. Pesha Leah Azoulay OBM and Avrohom Dovid Liberow OBM, and the Shloshim of Chaya Musha Itkin OBM.
Speakers will include rabbis, Mashpiim and friends who know the two who were killed in last week’s car accident near Pittsburgh returning from a wedding.
R’ Mendy Azoulay, the French husband of Pesha Leah who lives in Crown Heights, is said to be attending as well. He may address the crowd too.
Tehillim will be said for Liberow’s father Rabbi Zalman Liberow, Shliach in Flatbush, who remains in critical but stable condition.
The event is for men and bochurim. A poster called on “all Anash and Shluchim to participate in an urgent Kinus.”
An event for women will be held at Bais Rivkah, 470 Lefferts Ave, beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Lets pray that this will bring positive results. Doing things in a positive way brings positive results as opposed to the opposite.
What difference does it make who the speakers will be?
If you wanna go for the sake of these tragedies to stop then it makes difference only if you will think twice before going due to the speakers who might not be to your liking then what’s the point !!
why are the names of the speakers a secret? this is supposed to be an event open to everyone, and therefore , in the spirit of openess and unity, the speakers names should be made public before hand. hatzlocho rabo!
I will b”n take upon my self to say a few kapitlach tehillim a day – everyday – so that moshiach should come TODAY!!!
Please help bring moshiach now!!!
Indeed yiden – when TOGETHER WE STAND – TOGETHER – because you have a neshamah and I have a neshamah – YES WE CAN bring REAL change for the good for GOOD!!! LETS JUST DO IT!!! Yidden we are in shnas 770 – The rebbe wants to come back – are we really ready to greet him?
Maybe, if all of us take upon on ourselves to do at least one good deed simply in honor that hashem should send us already moshiach, the day will finnally come!
Yidden, its over 18 years since the famous sicha of “do all you can do”, the rebbe didn’t forget us, but he needs our help. Let’s just do it!!!
The rebbe said: “moshiach is on his way”…how much longer? You think the rebbe meant moshiach is coming in 50 years? Together we can turn the worlds upside down!!!
Well, there is a shloshim for Chaya Mushka in Bais Rivkah, for women–so probably it’s just for men not to take away from that. See earlier article from today.
I’m sure you know that 770 has a Ezras Noshim with plenty of space. Feel free to join.
The main thing is that Hakodosh Boruch Hu should listen to the tefilos and put and end to the horrible occurrences..
We NEED Moshiach Now!!!
