Avrohom Dovid Liberow, 9, was killed Wednesday in a car crash, while the Flatbush, NY Shliach remains in a coma. The funeral will be held today.

Avrohom Dovid Liberow, the 9 year-old son of a Chabad Shliach in New York, was killed in a Wednesday night car crash.
Rabbi Zalman Liberow was traveling back with his family from a wedding in Grand Rapids, Michigan, when a tractor-trailer lost control on Interstate 80 in Western Pennsylvania, crossing over the median and hitting the minivan they were in.
The fatal multi-vehicle-crash occurred shortly before 10:00PM Wednesday evening, Yeshiva World News reported. Although not confirmed, Police believe freezing rain may have caused the crash.
At 10:30PM a friend of the family asked COLlive.com to post a Tehillim notice for Schneur Zalman ben Dabrusha and his son who remained stuck in the vehicle.
But shortly thereafter he called again and asked to remove the boy's name. "It's too late," he said with a heavy heart.
Another passenger, Pesha Leah Azoulay of Crown Heights, was killed too.
Rabbi Liberow, Director of Chabad of Flatbush since 1992, is in critical condition.
His wife, Mrs. Chana Liberow (daughter of Rabbi Zusha Posner of Israel), and 3 other children who were in the vehicle are reportedly in stable condition B"H.
Rabbi Mendel Sasonkin, Director of Chabad of the nearby Akron, Ohio, and organizations Chesed Shel Emes and Misaskim worked tirelessly until 3:00AM with the Pennsylvania State Police to have the bodies released as soon as possible.
The funeral will be held today, leaving from Shomrei Hadas at 1:30 pm, will pass by the Chabad House in Flatbush at 2:00 pm, and will pass by 770 at 2:30 pm.

The remarks on another website made me cry. That is not what this dear family would want. I have been far from the Abishter, and from the Rebbe'O.H. as a former trauma social worker at a metropolitan hospital ,I know that the Rabbi will probably require rehabilitation,depending on the extent of his injuries,and his capabilitieswhen he awakens from the induced coma,he and his family will need extensive support. There are wonderful rehab hospitals out there,and,he will move onto one ,as soon as he recovers from the acute phase of his trauma,never give up hope as he can improve for a very long time,as he receives extensive therapies to move forward.An organization that helps with such tragic accidents is candlelighters,and of course the chabad community will be there for the family and the rabbi too.One thing I learned from my work in trauma is that those persons with the strongest religious beliefs seemed to pull through the worst challenges.You are all in my prayers.

How can anything that Hashem does, be even CONSIDERED bad, let alone evil ?!
The answer is that an individual that does absolute Tshuva with a heavy heart,
AND Davens to Hashem with full Kavana as if he is actually talking to Hashem face-to-face,
AND consistently gives Tzedakah with true loving kindness and gladness;
THAT kind of person will BEGIN to comprehend that what appears to be a bad decree, is really for the good. The word "Ma'avirin", alters, refers to the mindset of the individual. Hakol L'tov. Anything and everything that happens is for the good. The average person merely cannot see it.
Moshiach will come when we all get to that Madrega.
Klal Yisroel is working on it, and we've gotten pretty far over all our history.
Unfortunately, we've still got a long way to go.
