Shula Swerdlov, 3, OBM

Shula Swerdlov, OBM, three year old daughter of R' Yossi and Hindel Swerdlov of Jerusalem, was killed in a hit and run accident in Rechavia today.

Shula Swerdlov, OBM, three year old daughter of R' Yossi and Hindel Swerdlov of Jerusalem, was killed in a hit and run accident in Rechavia today.

The child was hit by a passing car after she was dropped off near her home after school on Monday.

She was transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in critical condition, but they were unable to save her.

R' Yossi Swerdlov is active in the Chabad organizations Children of Chernobyl and the Terror Victim's Project. He is the son of R' Leibel and Miryam Swerdlov of Crown Heights and the nephew of R' Yoel Kahan.

Hindel is the daughter of Rabbi Shlomo Schwartz, one of the first shluchim in Los Angeles.

Yossi & Hindel Swerdlov are sitting Shiva in their home in Jerusalem, Israel.

what a tragedy!!
I am in shock , having just heard who this girl is!! I am assuming they are not posting because not all family members no!! all I can say is if G-d can do such a tragedy, let hime give them the strength to get through it !!!!

there was an example given by the mumbai attacks: some clueless ppl are standing outside an operating thearter in a hospital, all they see, is a man who is completely sich, suffering with g-d only knows what, lying on a bed....and then the sergeon picks up a knife and starts cutting him up!!- the ppl run in shouting at the surgeon "what are you doing?!- is it not enough he's already sick?!"----- i think this is not an answer but it is definitly something to think about. all we can do is cry for our fellow yidden, try and rebuild, and beg hashem to send us MOSHIACH NOW!!- and most of all: bd'h and to the family: hamokom yenachem eschem etc..

This is terrible, my heart goes out to Yossi and Hindel - such special people, anyone who knows them loves them.

I can not believe I just saw this! Yossi and HIndel are the sweetest people! HOw can such a tragedy happen! How can Hashem let something like this happen!

as humans with feelings, it is impossible to view a tragey in such a way. yes, im sure G-d has a reason and a plan but to us it is incomprehensible.

Hindel, may you hav ethe strength to get through this crazy, horrific tragedy! You are truly a person who warms hearts- everyone loves you and everyone is grieving with you. May we merit to see moshiach soon so that you can be reunited with your beautiful daughter!
