New York Cruise Sets Sail
On board the Pink Lady, "A Cruise To See The Classics" set sail Monday with Chassidic and Jewish families using Chol HaMoed Sukkot to vacation. Not every bit of conventional wisdom holds true, but this one probably has more than a kernel: How many who have lived in New York City all of their lives have never seen the Statue of Liberty up close, or the Coney Island beaches, or sailed underneath the Verrazano bridge?
If you are one of those, this Chol HaMoed you’ll have the perfect opportunity to take in all these spectacular views in a wonderful Sukkot atmosphere, while enjoying your favorite Chassidic music, a clown, kosher snacks, and a d’var Torah on board the Pink Lady.
The boat will depart daily during Chol HaMoed (Monday to Thursday), rain or shine, leaving every day at 2 p.m. (with a sunset departure on Thursday) from Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn.
