Sign Calls For Shul Silence
A 13 x 19 inch sign, quoting from the Shulchan Aruch, is being hung in Crown Heights Shuls by a Lubavitch group called "Shul Respect." In an effort to improve our davening, a group of anash have produced a beautiful sign, encouraging everyone to focus on their davening and leave the talking for later.
The sign, measuring 13 X 19 inches, contains quotes from the Alter Rebbe's Shulchan Aruch and supplements the pamphlet “U’mikdashi Tira’u” that was produced over a year ago and was met with tremendous success.
The signs are prominently displayed in Shuls in the communities of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, Baltimore, the Catskill Mountains and others.
The Gabboim of the Shuls have expressed their thanks to the organizers, saying that the sign encourages and helps remind the members of the importance of davening.

Even if one person stops talking it would have been worth it.
However I can state for certain that in some locations the sign is up high and CANNOT be read.
