The Largest Challah Ever?

Penn State Shliach Rabbi Nosson Meretsky submitted an application to Guinness World Records to determine if the 9-foot-long Challah baked by Tony Sapia is indeed the largest ever. Full Story

it says Mendel Meretsky 7 and the pictue is actaly Shalom Ber meretsky there was a diffrent picture of mendel meretsky so thats a mistake

as a older woman i am glad to see that they are finally taking strides towards making challas as a kid i grew up with out any challas we ate matza because we lived in russia thank you for the amazing challa

Guys, I don’t think you realize how long 9 feet is, yes, you may have seen bigger, as in, higher/puffier/taller challahs, but in length – 9 feet is really long! and by the way, there are a few cohen’s in montreal, and I think the challahs they get are from a bakery, and ‘only’ 6 feet long.

In kiryat Gat, their are bigger and larger challos than this,for just 300 dollars, but nice try!!!

the challah is huge…. How do you braid something sooooooo long and then put it in the oven in one piece??

there are many cohens in montreal and it was done by a bakery. i do not think it was that long
