Renowned lecturer Rabbi Manis Friedman will be giving a free online class called “Making Peace With Divorce” this Tuesday, May 29 at 1:00 pm Eastern Time.
“Everything in life has a source in the Torah – even the negative things,” he says. “Especially when it comes to life-changing events, there is a right way and a wrong way to get through them.”
He said that “The Torah teaches us the right way to get through challenges, and that’s why it’s so important for people to use the Torah’s wisdom as a guide during difficult times.
“Divorce is one of the most difficult challenges a person can go through in life. Without guidance, without a person to provide you with the right perspective, a person who is able to lift you up and give you strength to get through this tough time, such a challenge can lead to a broken person. And no one deserves to end up like this. I sincerely hope that this class will relieve a lot of negative feelings, and most of all, give everyone a calm strength to move on to a better future.”
His son, Rabbi Zalman Friedman, director of It’s Good to Know, said his father spends his days doing his best to help others.”
“Over the years, I have personally seen how much he has helped people who were going through a divorce,” he said. “He was not only able to put a smile on their faces again; he was able to get them to believe in themselves, to understand that their marriage had a divine purpose, and most importantly, to know without a doubt that everything they went through was ultimately good.
“These fortunate people who had my father to turn to during their most difficult times have told me that they will forever be grateful for his guidance. Therefore, we both decided that we must do what we can to help give others such valuable and lifesaving information.”
Rabbi Manis Friedman will be sharing unique and inspiring insights such as:
-Divorce is NOT an option. What does this mean?
-Was my marriage a mistake if it’s ending (or ended) in divorce?
-Are subsequent marriages also a product of Divine providence?
-Are my children’s fates a byproduct of my bad choices?
Rabbi Friedman will also be hosting a live Q&A after the class. Space will be limited to ensure that everyone will be able to ask questions. To register – click here
