Shliach to Slovakia, Rabbi Zev Stiefel sings a haunting rendition of “Ani Maamin” in the empty shell of the formerly magnificent shul in Vrbove, Slovakia.
72 years ago, this was a large, vibrant, thriving community but today, there isn’t a minyan of Jews to daven there.
However, thanks to the presence of Chabad, the shul may enjoy a beautiful, albeit brief, renaissance soon.
Stiefel’s have the best voices
Thank you for talking about our children with such admiration and warmth! We might be biased, but we are so happy to know that others view them the same way. Our “nachas cup” has overflowed so much.
The steifels were warm caring and fun to work for. Had an excellent time and it’s always a pleasure doing the Rebbe’s shlichus for someone who is a genuine shliach and not looking to just abuse bochurim. Thank you!
Amazing!
Zev & Bina & their children exemplify our Shluchim’s best! Everything they do is with precision down to the last detail. They are incredible, exciting people & Zev’s beautiful voice just elevates everything.
From big bro Mo..
This is absolutely beautiful. What a zchus, and what a zchus to host the chusheve mishpachas Herzog.

there was left of it. Hatzlacha Rabba to the Schluchim and please G-d, משיח כאו!!
Really stirring and full of meaning. Wow
The Stiefels are incredible Shluchim. Dedicated to the Rebbe’s Shlichus with a level of mesiras nefesh that is not required nor even reached even by many Shluchim. I stand in awe of them, knowing the challenges that they have to face in their little town called Piestena in Slovakia. May Hashem grant them continued hatzlocha and may anybody who is able to give them support and does, be blessed in that zechus
Great job Zevy!
Keep up the great work, Zevi!
