Tuesday, March 13 at the JCM, Charlie Harary launched his book tour in Crown Heights, speaking to a crowd of 150 businesspeople and entrepreneurs.
The theme of the event was “How to Grow Yourself, Your Business, and Your Profits,” and entrepreneurs, business owners, and business leaders came from across Brooklyn to learn, grow, and network.
The event was hosted by Ptex Group as part of their Let’s Talk Business (LTB) Platform and sponsored by FirstChoice POS. LTB’s mission is to provide quality business education for the orthodox Jewish community and the chance for like-minded entrepreneurs to connect and network.
After some networking and light refreshments to kick off the evening, Zacharia Waxler, Co-managing partner of Roth&Co, opened the program by speaking about the “7 “S”s to Success”: Strategy, Structure, System, Skills, Staff, Style and Shared Value.
Meny Hoffman, CEO of Ptex Group, followed up with a short talk on how to seize on opportunities to turn transactions into experiences for customers.
Charlie Harary then gave a keynote speech on the power of the mind to shape one’s beliefs, and how greatness is achieved through recognize the greatness that is already within them, rather than always looking for better opportunities. “Great people don’t have resolutions. They have vision,” he said.
The evening concluded with more networking and a book signing with Charlie.
“Last night reminded me how important it is to take time out to focus on my personal growth and to think like an entrepreneur,” said attendee Chava Witkes.
“It was an awesome evening, very inspiring,” another attendee, Usher Brunner, wrote on LinkedIn. The speakers brought great clarity as to how to be successful in business.”
Hoffman says LTB is planning on bringing these “road events” to more Jewish communities across the tri-state area. “There’s so much power in like-minded business people coming together to learn and grow. You never know the difference that one idea, one conversation can make for your business,” he said.
