Hadar Hatorah Men’s Yeshiva in Crown Heights has begun work on an exciting renovation project – building a brand new Zal for the yeshiva.
The new modern and spacious study hall will will replace the current Beis Medrash and will allow Hadar Hatorah students to learn and daven in one large, beautiful space.
Yeshivas Kol Yaakov Yehudah Hadar Hatorah was founded 56 years ago, the first yeshiva for baalei-teshuva in the world. Hadar Hatorah has successfully brought thousands of Jewish men, with little or no background in Yiddishkeit, to the helms of thriving Jewish families. The Rebbe described Hadar Hatorah as an institution which is “imperative and vital!”
Current students and alumni are very excited about this project which is scheduled to be completed before Shavuos.
If you will like to become a partner in this project, please go to https://www.hadarhatorah.org/pages/donate.php or call 718-735-0250.
Hadar HaTorah still uses the Aron Kodesh from the Rebbe at the Summer Yeshiva location in the mountains. It’s not for sale.
The Aaron you are likely referring to hasn’t been used by Hadar HaTorah for almost 30 years.
The construction of the new zal is happening now, the old zal still in use, come by!
FYI: Rabbi Jacobson A.H., told me personally, that the Aron Kodesh, that was in Hadar Hatorah, was the Rebbe’s Aron from 770 before the new one was built by Rabbi Lipskier AH. What a historical artifact! Find it! Grab it! Auction it off! Hello???
