Family, friends, and community members gathered to celebrate the life of Minnesota Head Shlucha Rebbetzin Mindelle Feller, A”H, at the Shloshim commemoration held in Lubavitch House in Minnesota.
Speakers included Rabbi Asher Zeilingold, spiritual leader of Adath Israel Synagogue in St. Paul; Rabbi Dovid Greene, director of Chabad of Rochester, MN; Senator Rudy Boschwitz and his wife Ellen, both longtime friends of the Fellers.
The assembled guests also heard from Rabbi Moshe Feller, Head of Upper Midwest Merkos, who shared personal recollections and words of inspiration, as well as from Mrs. Feller’s sons, rabbis Mendel and Levi Feller. Led by Rabbi Mendel Feller, the siyum – completion of the study of Mishnayos, which was divided thrice over in memory of Mrs. Feller, was marked.
The Shloshim Event in Minnesota was preceded by an Hazkara Memorial at the Aguda Center in Flatbush.
At the Hazkara, attended by many family members and close friends, the assembled heard from Rabbi Aharon Zuckerman, a prominent Lakewood Rav and brother-in-law of Mrs Feller, as well as from Rabbi Mendel Feller, and Mrs Feller’s grandsons Tzemach Dovid, Yossi, and Levi Feller, who shared reflections on their special connection to this wonderful woman. Levi Feller also made a siyum on Mishnayos.
