i question the writer's description of sholom mordechai
November 14, 2017 8:04 pm

sholom mordechai is not a “lubavitcher butcher” just as he is not , as you write, “imprisoned.” he is, first and foremost, ahn emesser ish chessed whose parnossah and source of income for the enormous amount of tzedakah he distributed, came from selling kosher meat – at a price that made it affordable. this is not a matter of semantics, it is an accurate understanding of who S.M. actually is. since you are obviously (and laudably) sensitive to nuances you might want to think about the aforementioned one as well.

Let’s do another Mitzvah, in the merit to speedly see the “Pada b’sholom”, Sholom Mordecha’s Geulah Shlaima B’karuiv, “b’sholom” that also his enemys will run to get him out and back to his earlier financial position and better, together with all Yiddin, with the Geulah Shlaima, led by the Rebbe, Now, Mamosh!

Ah, Reb sholom Mordechai (part #2)

R”l, is being imprisoned, or trying to be made into a “prisoner”. Why, because he is a Jew, a Chosid, for the same reasons the communists imprisoned his grandparents of old. But at the same time in this picture I see a man who is not “caught up” with the chains the world wants to place on him, the fear they want to place in him, “the time” with which they want to break him. Rather I see, as in the past, a man who is focused on and living for a higher cause, as always, selflessly seeking “what can… Read more »

Ah, Reb Sholom Mordechai

Seeing this picture, captured for me what a always jnoew of Reb Sholom Mordechai, but now I see it in “black and white”. A Chosid, ah tefach hecher. Spending time in postivlle, learning in Reb Sholom Mordechai’s Yeshiva, I was privileged (beyond the Bracha of being a student in a must empowering Yeshiva) to meet giant of a man, a man who delt in “the world” (successfully) and at the same time was never “caught up” in it, rather, living “a step above”. It was seen from everything he when’s about doing, from the way he delt with employees at… Read more »

I know the Rosh H ‘yishiva personally .
He is truly a b’al middo,s and has a pure heart.
He has some Wonderful chabad relatives, who think the world of him.
When I was laid up in a rehabilitation facility , he stoped by to see me.
A true Talmud Chachum and Lamden.
May Shalom Mordichai have his Beulah immediately.
Amen

R' Yeruchem Olshin

A few years ago, Rav Yeruchem made a similar trip – and he had a funeral of a family member that afternoon who had passed away suddenly in Lakewood. Rav Olshin insisted he would make it to both, and davend vasikin in the summer, traveled to see R’ Sholom Mordechai, and made it back in time for the funeral. Yehi Ratzon Klal Yisrael should be zoche to see very soon the complete Geula collectively for R’ Sholom Mordechai individually

Thank You!
