The search continues for the fourth day today for two missing men who were aboard a helicopter that disappeared off of Molokai, Hawaii.
As of this morning, search teams have scoured approximately 13,000 square miles for advanced helicopter student Jeremy Dossetter, 27, of Haleiwa and instructor Oliver Kirsch, 25, of Mauna Loa Helicopters, the Honolulu Star Advertiser reported.
The men, aboard a Robinson R44 helicopter, were reported missing Monday night after the aircraft disappeared off of the northwest coast of Molokai.
At 7:26 p.m. Monday, the Coast Guard received a call from the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport control tower reporting that they had lost communications with the Robinson R44 helicopter.
The two men were aboard the helicopter for flight training when they left Honolulu Monday and were heading back to Oahu when the airport’s control tower lost communications.
The helicopter’s 2 passengers, Yirmiyahu Matan Dossetter, 27, and Oliver Kirsch, 25, are both missing.
Extensive searching by the Navy, Coast Guard and other help have not found the helicopter or the people.
Yirmiyahu Matan Dossetter is a very close friend of Chabad of S. Francisco, and Shluchim Rabbi Yosef and Hinda Langer.
“Please say Tehillim and pray for the safe recovery of Yirmiyahu Matan ben Shoshana Brocha and Oliver Kirsch,” Mrs. Langer asks.
