The Shluchim Life Insurance Policy is a project of the Shluchim Gemach, a division of The Shluchim Office, launched by Gemach chairman Reb Shmuel Gniwisch after the sudden passing of the shliach Rabbi Zalman Itkin, in Hamilton, Ontario. The policy is offered thanks to the expertise of Dudi Farkash and his insurance team at RFK Financial.

How do these rates compare with market rates? If older not well people can get insurance aren’t us younger healthier ones subsidizing them and paying more??? Seems like this only males sense for unhealthy older folks…
I appreciate some people are hesitant to fork over more money they don’t have each month for something they hope will be ultimately “wasted” and never have to be used but having life insurance is a must. It is called being responsible. I agree with a previous commentator that too often a tragedy occurs and, lo aleinu, a large family becomes the larger community’s burden. I am not saying there should be a minimum but something for a wife and children to get by if, chas v’shalom, a husband (assuming he is the main breadwinner) passes away. A token amount… Read more »
This is crucial. I spoke with an organizer and apparently, the more people who sign up within these two weeks, the cheaper it will be, as it evens out for everyone. Let’s do this as a team
Thank you shluchim office for organizing things like this which shluchim actually need! Not for your own kovod or fame
when u do a LARGE xgroup it all evens out for the insurer ….
was told same in israel that if they had 1000 (one thousand) ppl on policy it would just be like 500/600 per one million policy for a young person….
RABONIM should come out with a “koil Koireh” … and not give “sidur Kidushin” unless the giuy has a policy!!!!!!! (at least 500K)
I am asked pretty much every month or so to support a family that the head of household past young with no Life Ins.
would be great if wives would also take out a policy…bc G-D forbid it will cost 100K a year to have a full time nanny etc to step in for the Mom…
we (the 1-5% who have a few extra $$$ ) can’t support anymore
all these cases!!!!!….

I’ve been doing research on life insurance plans, and I never saw such a thing that gives insurance to everyone no matter it health or age. I’m sure all my fellow Shluchim will jump on this
Every shliach should join!
Too many communities are struggling to support families that the head of family thought he could do without insurance.
Anash is a must also
It is a great help for Shluchim I wish it was available for none Shluchim too
I personally know a family that gained from this… You can’t get such a thing anywhere. Age and medical makes no difference!
I know first hand of Shluchim families benefit from this amazing insurance.
Please every one that doesn’t have any life insurance join !!!
Do yourself and your family a favor !! The responsibly thing to do !!!
