To the Ben Ami Family
Back in1982 your family family was an inspiration of endurance and perseverance to us women of Machon Alte. My thoughts are with you at this time.
I ate at their house too and would like to email his wife. How can i?
I remember when we were together in switzerland in Margoa Lengnau together for Schabes. Really unbelievible
Why are these Neshamos being taken up there if our job completion and purpose of this whole world is “Dira Batachtonim”..Please Hashem no more of this We Must Have Moshiach Now!
I was also at one of their beautiful shabbos meals in sem and i still remember how homey and welcoming it was

Wishing to all your family a long life ..
This is so shocking and tragic…. I remember when I was in seminary in Tzfas, Benny once saw my friend in the supermarket a few hours before Shabbos and asked if she had a place to eat. She replied that she did not and Benny said that she should come over and bring her friends too. We ended up being a big group of girls who the Ben-Amis didnt even know. It was such a special Shabbos meal- full of so much Torah and fun. They made us feel completely comfortable and at home even though it was so last… Read more »
We are devastated on the loss of Benny, such a wonderful man.
Our heart goes out to his wife, parents, children Miriam and Mendel, siblings, in laws and everyone here in Johannesburg.
There are no words to describe the sadness we are all feeling. May Hashem give much strength and comfort to the family.
I’ll never forget when I got a ride from him as a sem student. He and another chosid were sitting up front and he somehow noticed that the girl in the back seat was feeling down…I didn’t have to say much but much of the ride he went on and on trying to lift my spirits and ensuring me that “things get better”. It’s indescribable when you have the feeling that someone else in the world notices when ur in pain and takes the time to let you know you’re not alone. I’ll never forget his kindness and my heart… Read more »

We are so saddened by this terrible tragedy. May the family know iof no more sorrow.
Sending sympathies to this wonderful family. They hosted me many times in seminary even though I hadn’t known them. They always asked people to share stories of hashgacha Protis so their children would learn. May you Nurit have strength and much nachos from the kids and may we be reunited with moshiach very soon!
