Announcement from Keren Simchas Chosson V’kallah (KSCVK):
Tomorrow, June 14th, starting at 12pm, we will have the unique opportunity to capitalize on the mitzvah off ensuring the joy of chossanim and kallahs – 40 times over!
Our annual matching campaign is, this year, aiming to raise $200,000 for KSCVK.
We have a group of generous matchers who have pledged to triple your donation. That means that for every $100 that you give, KSCVK will get $300. This is an incredible opportunity to show your support and make a real difference for chassanim and kallahs facing financial strain in setting up their Jewish home.
Here’s how you can help:
1: On Wednesday at noon go to: charidy.com/KSCVKand make a donation!
2: Share the link and spread the joy to chassanim and Kallahs! Send texts, emails, Facebook messages, WhatsApp posts to your contacts to let them know KSCVK is having a campaign and needs their support.
3: Come by our operations room on Wednesday, June 14th at the Oholei Torah ballroom 7pm!
This is where the magic happens. Join us in our operations room to make phone calls.
This campaign will finance forty weddings for young couples who do not have substantial financial support. Partner with KSCVK to alleviate the financial stress and allow young couples to focus on their hopes and dreams- and their wedding, their once in a lifetime moment. This can only happen with You!

Did she make your Chasuna or the chasuneh of your sister or your child?
Did you ever enjoy a good friend’s Chasuna that was a splendid affair because Devorah helped out?
Now is the time to show your support.
Not everyone can give a thousand, five hundred, or even $100. But I’m sure if you stretch a little bit you can give $36, $18, $3. Just give something. We all love Devorah. She takes care of all of us. Give whatever you can, and may you be blessed with only happiness and simcha in your life.

I’m aware that this is a sensitive topic but isn’t it time to lower the standards a little?
There is absolutely no obligation to turn weddings into fancy events.
Don’t spend what you can’t afford.
