Thousands of Israeli Jews and visitors came to the Kotel – Western Wall in Jerusalem to celebration the reunification of the holiest city to the Jewish people.
The reunification occurred following the conquest of half of the city – including the walled Old City – during the Six Day War in 1948.
The victory on behalf of the Israel Defense Forces has ended the Jordanian annexation of the eastern part of the city that lasted for two decades.
The Reunification is celebrated as an Israeli national holiday, Jerusalem Day. For the 50th anniversary of the reunification, many have been visiting the Kotel and offering a prayer of thanks.
VIDEO: Chabad niggun sung during the celebration
wow beautiful we want Moshaich now
And it was the highlight of my life. What a night.

MOSHIACH NOW
From someone who was there it was an unbelievable expression of achdus to hear many Lubavitcher niggunim being danced to by 100,000 Yidden! The video was taken standing in front of the Collel Chabad building!!!
Soon we will be singing YECHI with MHM
This nigun was made by Rabbi sholom Horowitz for the rebbes kapitol to the words of yaichul mechayel eal choyel it was tooken from a nigun of the tzemach tzedek just made a little faster.
How perfect & appreciated it would be for Moshiach to come at that moment with so much achdus and joy! I’m in love with it!
We are still here! As a nation! Waiting for moshiach!
Unbelievable! Am Yisroel Chai!
Amazing! I watched that video 3 times and can’t help but feel annoyed that I’m not there to be part of it! But soon we will all be there. The whole Clal Yisroel gathered together in Eretz Yisroel!
