On Monday afternoon, Shmira received a call from a local resident regarding a person trying to break into his apartment.
The incident occurred around 6:30PM, at which the suspect repeatedly tried to forcefully gain access into the apartment.
The resident immediately called Shmira and 911 as soon as he realized what was happening, a Shmira volunteer told COLlive.
As Shmira volunteers quickly arrived, they encountered the man, who was still outside the apartment. After some questioning, they discovered the suspect to be heavily intoxicated.
It turned out that he was simply at the wrong home and he had no bad intention, the Shmira volunteer said.
Shortly afterwards, Police arrived and decided to have a FDNY ambulance take him to a local hospital for evaluation.
Remember, in case of an emergency, do not hesitate to call CH Shmira and 718-221-0303, and 911.
I knew we could always rely on Shmira for doing an awesome job all the time

2 cop cars and 1 ambulance is considered allot for a house break-in?
Either way, You gotta appreciate that the only ones who showed up full force was Shmira and they’re not getting paid….
What a waste of tax payers money. All those cops and FDNY Emt’s for one drunk (maybe even illegal alien)
