Yad L’shliachs push to support Shluchim needs your Help.
Today at noon, Yad L’shliach launched a 24-hour Charidy campaign to raise $100,000 for 100 shluchim. If (when) successful, the funds will be distributed equally in gifts of $1,000 to help families on shlichus cover the considerable costs of the upcoming Yom Tov.
For the past 12 years, Yad L’shliach has distributed more than $1,500,000 to families on shlichus. A project of Keren Yaakov Moshe, this innovative fund was established by Rabbi Shlomo Friedman of Tzach and his brother Avraham Fried, in memory of their father, to meet the essential and individual needs of the thousands of men and women, who continue to dedicate their lives to the needs of others.
From very serious emergency medical needs, to the daily needs of shoes for the family or car repairs, Yad L’shliach has provided hundreds of shluchim with the critical funds to overcome immediate challenges.
“Our debts and challenges had grown recently and it seemed unfeasible to continue. I have to admit I had lost hope in myself in some way. We had considered leaving. It was that day that I got a call from Moshe Kravitsky. He greeted me with a warm attitude and told me Yad L’shliach would help us. The financial support was helpful, but it was the phone call that made all the difference…The message was clear. We are not alone.” —Anonymous Recipient
“What I hear from shluchim all over the world,” said Avraham Fried, “is that when they received that unexpected envelope from Yad L’shliach, they feel like they won the lottery!”
The fund has also helped shluchos with the purchase of new sheitels, so they can look and feel their best, as one recipient described, “Because of your generosity, my wife was able to buy a new sheitel for the first time in nine years of marriage!”
“$1.5 million dollars already given to shluchim, 6,000 pairs of shoes, it’s mind blowingly beautiful” says Mendel Duchman, friend and mentor to many shluchim, “it’s erev pesach, lets help our brothers and sisters who are less fortunate.”

This response that we got sums it up. “Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
Amazing! Bh! Speechless! Why are we only hearing about this now?! Happy pesach
Positive; This is one of the most incredible organizations that I never heard of. I just started asking around about the this organization and seems there are lots of people of there that have been helped.
The negative is that how come more people dont know about this??

With much appreciation.
Not one penny goes to any administrative funds 1000 comes in and immediately is mailed to a shluchim family in need . Yasher Koach to the Friedman family for following in the footsteps of Reb Yaakov Moshe haKohen who always was ready to help a Yid
Im not sure he would want to say his name, but my brother, who is a very successful shliach, was going thru a super rough time financially and Yad came thru big time and got him a check right away. Thank you. Count me in on this. I gave to the campaign.
Oh wow. My sister in law from France just told me at the kinus, how she received a check from Yad lshlaich.
She said when they opened the envelope her husband went into a dance.
You got my donation.
When our youngest child was born a month before tishrei, we had to make an agonizing decision over whether to bring our bechor, who was 11 years old and out of town for school, home for yom tov or if we should use the money instead to fly in a mohel we preferred over the closer, not as preferred mohel. As if by miracle, a check for $1,000 arrived that day from yad lshliach, enabling us to do both! They are an incredible organization!!
Best time to give is erev pesach!!!
The Rebbe often granted the shluchim checks in the amount of 1,000 dollars.
Yad L’shliach is emulating this by giving shluchim surprise gifts of 1,000 dollars.
PLEASE HELP TODAY.
The recipients will thank you!
Some people think Yad Lshliach only gives random checks to shluchim. They do much more. I’ve watched it. I’m giving!
