Rabbi Yehoram Ulman, senior Dayan on the Sydney Beis Din, will be giving bochurim the chance to learn and observe as it oversees all matters of halacha across Australia, Asia and beyond.
This will be part of a new Smicha program for Chabad Yeshiva graduates that will be operating out of Chabad of Bondi in New South Wales, Australia, next door to Rabbi Ulman’s office.
In addition to the Smicha curriculum, the bochurim will benefit and experience ongoing Shimush in all aspects of halacha from Rabbi Ulman and senior Dayan Rabbi Moshe Gutnick including Kiddushin, Gittin, Geirus, Kashrus and Eruvin.
Four applicants will be selected to join the learning program and they will also be involved in community Shlichus opportunities.
“The reason for opening this program is the need to train more rabbonim,” says Rabbi Eli Schlanger who will be reviewing the applications. “Rabbi Ulman is looking for bochurim who are looking to become rabbonim, perhaps even get dayonus at a later stage.”
To apply, email [email protected] or Whatsapp +61468414770.
Rabbi Ulman and Rabbi Gutnick are 2 of the most amazing Chabad Rabbonim out there.
Their competence in all Halachic areas balanced with their understanding of the real world is something really hard to find!
The Jewish and Chabad world will benefit enormously from more Rabbonim trained like they are! How amazing that they will be taking on trainee Rabbonim for the next generation!
Wishing this venture a huge amount of success!
As a retired CH resident can I join to become a Rov CH needs Rabonim .

Thanks R Ulman and Gutnick for finally bringing serious shluchim/bochurim to bring Torah and light back to sydney!
To learn under the guidance of Rabbi Ulman is a unique opportunity. Any bochur that is seriously looking for a learning opportunity this is it. There is much to be learned from Rabbi Ulman
Excellent! BTW did you know Rabbi Ulman’s father-in-law is the famous Rabbi Yosef Goldstein (“Uncle Yossi”)!
